As the Software Developer Intern, you will perform minor code changes to correct software errors.

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Developer Intern . This role is a full-time internship and is remote . The internship dates are June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027 . This internship is a full-time opportunity requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week . Candidates must be available during core business hours for the entire 9-week duration of the program. Please note that all work must be performed within the United States.

What You'll Do

• Develop front-end features and components using Vue.js

• Add accessibility-compliant code to ensure WCAG standards and inclusive front-end experiences

• Debug both front-end and backend applications to identify, analyze, and resolve issues

• Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing web applications

• Perform backend development using Eclipse, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture

• Integrate backend services with PostgreSQL databases

• Execute CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete) on database tables for development and troubleshooting

What You'll Need

Required:

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program in an Information Technology-related major

• Some programming experience in Java through coursework or prior internships

• Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher

Preferred:

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js

• Familiarity with Spring Boot or microservices architecture

• Exposure to PostgreSQL or other relational databases

• Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices

• Experience using version control tools such as Git

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time

• Ability to conduct tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor

$20 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
